I have a new book! And it’s out now! And I’m SO EXCITED TO TELL YOU ABOUT IT!!! Okay, deep breath... So, the book’s called Area 52. And it’s narrated by Bigfoot. Although...he doesn’t love the name “Bigfoot.” It just seems a little rude. How would you like it if everyone called you “Bignose”? Or the world went and named you “Hugebottom”? No, thanks! That’s why he prefers the other name people have made up. “Sasquatch.” Or just “Squash,” for short. But Squash isn’t the only mythological monster. There’s also Bruce (AKA the Jersey Devil), Tiny (a teeny-tiny T-Rex), Fermi (an alien), and Abby (the Abominable Snowgirl). This unlikely group of friends meets in a super-secret government facility called Area 52. When a savage horde of aliens threatens the planet, they’ll have to escape from Area 52 and save the world—even though if world doesn’t believe they exist. Area 52 is a funny fast-paced adventure for kids 8-12. And once they're done reading, the fun isn't over. This book also has an interactive code-breaking challenge that lets readers unlock bonus content! |

THE LAST HUMAN MOVIE
I'm so excited to announce that my upcoming novel, The Last Human, is being developed as a film with Sony Pictures! And it gets better. Because the movie is going to be directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, the brilliant minds behind Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, The Lego Movie and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The script is being written by Henry Gayden, the writer of SHAZAM!
This is just the beginning. The film isn't a sure thing yet. But it's definitely an exciting possibility. And I'm incredibly excited to be working with so many amazing filmmakers toward bringing The Last Human to the big screen!
